Jennifer Jane Saunders was born July 6, 1958 in Lincolnshire, England. She attended Londons Central School of Speech and Drama where she met Dawn French. Together they became Britain's leading comedic team, French and Saunders. Jen has appeared in such sitcoms as Girls on Top, Let Them Eat Cake, and Happy Families. Not to mention Roseanne! But what she is most famous for is her hit show Absolutely Fabulous, which she wrote and starred in along with Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha and June Whitfield.   Ab Fab ran from 1992-1996, but was revived for a new series (series 4) in 2001

Miss Saunders is married with three daughters, Freya, Beattie and Ella. Her husband is also a fellow actor and comedian, Adrian Edmondson (hence her character's name in AbFab--Edina Monsoon). He guest starred as Hamish in Absolutley Fabulous. They have a happy new home in Devon!
